Auchterarder Area Local Primary School Uniform
It’s that time again when parents start on the tick list for their children returning to school. Please find below a handy guide for the school uniform requirements for local primary schools.
The Community School of Auchterarder uniform requirement is as follows –
Please ensure that pupils have:
- White Polo Shirt
- Royal Blue Sweatshirt P1 – P6 and Black Sweatshirt for P7
- Black Skirt/Trousers
- Black Shoes
- Girls white socks and Boys black socks
- Royal Blue Polo shirt, black shorts or joggers and gym shoes for PE
Additional optional uniform:
- Royal Blue Cardigan
- Royal Blue Fleece
- Grey Hooded Sweatshirt for PE
- Lightweight reversible jacket
Please avoid the following:
- Black shoes with white banding at the bottom
- Black shoes with white laces
- Jeans (even if they’re on sale in the ‘school wear’ section)
- Leggings (thick or thin, they are not appropriate for school)
- Hoodies or any jumpers with branding – except during PE or after school sports activities
For Aberuthven Primary School the uniform is as follows –
Uniform/Clothing School uniform consists of a jade green sweatshirt worn with a white polo shirt, black/grey trousers or skirt and black school shoes. Sweatshirts may be ordered online. www.beschoolwear.co.uk. For web page click here Forms for those entitled to a clothing grant are available from school. For P.E., children should have gym shoes, socks, shorts and a plain white T-shirt. The P.E. kit can be kept in school throughout each block of learning to avoid pupils’ not having kit when they need it.
Blackford Primary School Uniform is as follows –
Uniform The school recommends that grey trousers/skirts (knee length) are worn with white shirts/blouses and bottle green sweatshirts/jumpers. Sweatshirts, polo shirts, jackets etc. with the school logo can be ordered from the school office or on-line, details of suppliers are available on the school website. For health and safety reasons during P.E. pupils should wear appropriate clothing i.e. • Black shorts and plain white polo shirt and gym shoes or clean indoor trainers
- Warm clothing and trainers for outdoors
- Sun hats and sunscreen in the summer
- Warm hats and gloves in the winter
Parents are requested to ensure that anoraks, coats, gym-shoes, boots etc. are marked clearly with the child’s name which can be read as the session progresses. When boots have to be worn to school, alternative footwear should be available for use indoors.
It would be most helpful to staff if when parents are purchasing coats, jackets, shoes, boots, gym shoes and school bags that consideration is given to the child’s ability to cope with the fastening of these articles.
Dunning Primary School Uniform is as follows
The school uniform consists of Navy blue skirt or trousers, Yellow polo shirt and Navy blue sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan.
Gym Kit: navy shorts, yellow t-shirt, yellow hoodie and black gym shoes.
Clothing can be obtained from a number of local shops. Uniform items with our embroidered ‘dragon’ logo are available to order from the school. The school holds a small stock and in addition items can usually be ordered in May and November.
